Found an eco café at Andrássy Út. It’s called EcoCafe. I love that it’s so obvious, helps me alot. They’re playing Mumford and Sons and I feel at home.
Slept until 10, and started off with breakfast at a café crowded with Scandinavian people, Mozaik, Király Street.
Yesterday I was lost and found at the train station Budapest Keleti before Á picked me up and we went to lake Balaton, ate really good Hugarian cake, food, boat ride and to Tihany for dinner, a long walk and we topped off the evening standing barefoot in the water by the road. Couldn’t have been better. Enjoying every moment of life.
People are staring at me. My haircut and my overall looks. My pants covered with flowers. And I am not imagining, Á tells me they look: curiously, confused, questioning, I don’t know. It seems to be obvious I’m not Hungarian when I walk down the street. And I don't really mind.
I like the fact that I am able to break the norm. Tell a different story. My story. A story outside the box?
