Once again on the road. Interrail. Europe. Here we go, but this time taking it slow and enjoying each city differently from last time. Maybe this time I will be able to get to see the deeper layers of the cities I visit? I do not know yet, but time will tell.

My brother sent me an invite for my birthday “J goes Europe”. The birthday present for me was a one month Interrail ticket, and he had two demands in order for me to get money for the ticket: That I would travel during summer and that I would visit him in Switzerland.

From Stockholm to Malmö. Falafel and my friend F. Got lost in Möllan looking for my friends’ apartment and then found my way back by the canal. That was yesterday and then I left Malmö for beer in Copenhagen at Mikkeller bar and new found Norwegian friends (found them in the bar, they invited me for glass of Porter, could I say no?). That was half an hour ago and now I’m on a bus to Berlin sharing thoughts with a Polish girl, B.

One might travel alone, but when travelling you are never alone.

I don’t think I have realised that I’m not going back to Sweden until the middle of August. Not just yet. As usual, I guess I will realise this when I get back to Sweden.

We’ll see where the road takes me.

In Berlin I’ll embrace the café and bar culture and in Budapest I hope to visit the countryside and my friend and guide Á will lead the road. In Zürich I’m looking forward to see my brother and see what the Swiss nature has to offer me and in Paris I hope my French friends will guide me to the best spots for whatever we feel like.

Work and leisure. That is my life and this trip.
